Coach Evaluation

I am very proud to have the opportunity to have coached Morgan Cary over the past three years. As an assistant on the staff in her sophomore year I saw great potential for Morgan and knew that she could be the player she is today. As head coach in her junior year I helped her focus on her future goals. To help her achieve those goals she decided it would be in her best interest to join club ball. In doing so, she starting performing at the potential that I knew she was capable of.

As a senior, now with club experience, she has brought her game to a new level. Morgan leads our team in blocking and is easily one of the best middle blockers in our league. Her hitting form and quality have greatly improved since last year. Eagerly accepting the responsibility, this year Morgan earned the privilege from both her teammates and her coaches' to lead the team as team captain. As team captain she has displayed her leadership ability in teaching others, setting good examples for others to follow, and taking charge of a variety of team activities. She is very passionate, dedicated, and truly cares very much about volleyball and would do whatever it takes to succeed at the next level. I have greatly enjoyed coaching Morgan and wish her the brightest possible future.

I have had the privilege of coaching Morgan Cary while she played on the Lake County Juniors 17-1 Club Volleyball Team. From this experience, I can say with utter confidence that Morgan is a dedicated athlete who leads her teammates by setting a strong example with her work ethic and positive attitude.

Morgan’s leadership ability is evident in everything that she does. She has an overwhelming ability to make every situation a positive one, and she always leads by example. On the court, Morgan gives every ounce of effort that she has in order to make sure that her team reaches its greatest potential. Every team could use such an intense, positive leader on the court.

I believe that Morgan displays all of the qualities that every college coach would hope for in a player. She displays the character, discipline, organization, and commitment necessary to become a successful athlete at the college level.  She would be a great asset to any college volleyball program.  If you have any questions about Morgan please contact me at your convenience.

Scouting Report

Energy! This is the best explanation of this talent. The first time I saw Morgan on the Volleyball court I witnessed 8 straight service winners in a row. Every shot was delivered with more intensity, and finished with the team gathering in the center of the court pumping arms and screaming loud. The team rallies around Morgan who is the only senior on a young team. She offers her enthusiasm and passion, to a team who has never won more than 3 matches in a season. With double digit victories this season Morgan is leaving a stamp on this team. Noticing her hard work and assistance with positioning and pointers, the team will continue to grow after her graduation.

Her desire to play at the next level is great. She has the ability to continue at the next level with her jumping ability at the net. She maintains a level head during matches, always anticipating the play to maximize her positioning on kills and blocks. She is always anticipating the next move. Her education is also extremely important to her and she is equally passionate about gaining a collegiate education in Graphic Design.
